Firmware, UEFI, and TPM
UEFI is the firmware interface between the hardware and operating system. Secure Boot helps verify software involved in startup. TPM 2.0 is a security component that can be implemented in firmware or as hardware. Confirm the capabilities for the exact device; the age or appearance of a computer does not establish eligibility.
Compatibility beyond the minimum
Applications, games, and peripherals can impose additional requirements. A computer that meets the Windows baseline may still lack suitable graphics, memory, or drivers for a particular workload. Specialized AI features and Copilot+ PCs also have requirements beyond the general Windows 11 baseline. Verify them only if they are relevant to your purchase.
